The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
